Anonymous asked: Dear, I am Hyun-Tae Jung. I received my Ph.D. in architecture from Columbia University in NYC and currently teach at Lehigh University. Recently I completed a book chapter on the activities of an architecture firm, which will be published in 2013 through the University of Texas Press. With Mr.Westcott's permission, I'd like to include 3 photos of Oak Ridge around 1943. Would you let me know how I can contact him? phone, email, address... Thanks for your help.
Most of the photos you find that were taken by Ed Westcott during the Manhattan Project are in the public domain, as he was a government employee, so you do not need permission to use them. If I can be of assistant in helping you obtain high-resolution copies of the photos you’d like I use, I’d be happy to help. - Ken Mayes - Deputy Director of American Museum of Science and Energy
